Hi...I´m Mauro. I´ll let you know the 2 serendipitous discoveries I´ve found amazing. The first one is "Cellophane". Yes, the most popular clear plastic wrapper. It was developed in 1908. Brandenberger, it´s inventor, was looking for some waterproof material to apply it to a tablecloth. But when he did that, the resultant combination was too stiff to be used. So, he separated the material from the backing cloth, and that was the cellophane.

The other one is "Aciclovir", an anti-viral for the treatment of Herpes Simplex virus infections and Herpes Zoster. I´ve chosen this invention because I´ve recently used Aciclovir as I had herpes in my lips. It is really effective.

Well...I promise to post my personal serndipitous experience, but I don´t have one in mind yet.
